WELCOME TO PASTOR DAN WENDELL AND FAMILY
Dan Wendell is a devoted follower of Jesus who seeks to honor God in all things. He finds great joy in strengthening the church’s witness locally and globally through evangelization and service. Dan has served as a missions pastor for the past ten years in two different communities, where he has focused on church mobilization, developing leaders and fostering Kingdom partnerships.
You may detect a hint of Philadelphia accent when you talk to Dan. After growing up in the suburbs, he studied at Penn State University where he earned degrees in Spanish and Communications (Let’s go, PSU!). This prepared him for his first career as a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. State Department, where he had postings in Honduras, Germany and Switzerland.
Dan met his wife Michelle during that first posting and they have been married for 17 years. They have three children, Noah (14), Madison (12) and Mason (9), whom they homeschool. They recently added to the family with a chocolate lab named Maple. Dan is very excited to graduate with an MA in Theology from Talbot Seminary in December 2018. The entire family hopes this will open up more time to serve together, play board games, hike, bike, surf and sail!
