“Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand…I was sick and ye visited Me….”
Matthew 25:34, 36…
CCLB Visitation Ministry is a group of caring and compassionate volunteers who come alongside those who are in distress. We are one of the many CARE Ministries at Cornerstone, and are usually called upon when someone is ill, isolated, or suffering loss. Our volunteers personally visit these dear ones, and bring a listening ear, a heart of compassion, and a word of prayer to support them in their time of need. In addition, we are very conscious of the greatest need of all—salvation—always prayerfully ready to share the good news to open hearts, as well.
If you, or someone you know, is going through a difficult time as a result of illness, isolation, or loss, please reach out to us in one of three ways. 1) By submitting your request directly to the church office at (562) 296-6490. 2) Through the CARE Ministry link on our church website www.cclb.org. Or 3) By checking “Visitation Ministry” and filling in your information on the coral connection card in your church bulletin.
We are currently looking for new volunteers! We will be having our next training on March 17. If you feel this is an area you might want to serve in, please email Billie Munn or Susan Koenig for more information.

CCLB Cancer Support Group
Our purpose: To support one another, both cancer patients and family, by first looking to the Lord as we take communion, then by sharing with one another those things that are more than we can bear alone, and bringing one another before the throne of grace as we are led.
Meetings: Third Sunday of each month at 6PM at the home of Jim & Billie Munn.
